“Roman has been a part of our family at Whaler Nation”, stated GM Patrick Cavanagh.  “We are proud to learn he has become the latest Hampton Roads Whaler to have been called up, in this case, to Odessa of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).  I expect he will play hard for the Jackalopes program under coach Gatto as he has shown during his time with us.”

Gaudet is a 2015 1st round draft pick of the Jackalopes and the 2nd Whaler to be recalled to the NAHL this season, joining teammate Brandon Osmundson (Corpus Christi) along with the recent affiliation of goaltender Sean Dickson (Minnesota Wilderness).  Gaudet will join the Jackalopes in time for their 3 game road trip to Amarillo.
