3 Whalers Earn USPHL Player of the Week Honors

The Hampton Roads Jr. Whalers are proud to announce that 3 Whalers have been honored by the USPHL as Players of the Week for the week of September 19th.

Billy Brock- Elite Offensive Player of the Week

The Whalers captain paced the Whalers offense in week one as the Whalers outscored the Patriots 24-0 in the 2 game sweep.  Brock posted 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points on the weekend including 1 power play goal, 2 power play assists, 2 short handed goals, 1 shorthanded assist, and 1 game winning goal.  Brock currently sits 1st in the USPHL Elite division in scoring.

Vaden McManus- Elite Defensive Player of the Week

The Whalers veteran rear guard showed his offensive abilities this weekend in a sweep of the Potomac Patriots.  McManus posted 2 goals and 5 assists for 7 points including 1 power play goal and 2 power play assists.  McManus currently sits in 3rd in scoring in the USPHL Elite division and 1st among defenseman. 

Gary Eastlack- USP3 Offensive Player of the Week

Whalers veteran and newly named USP3 captain Gary Eastlack set the tone in his teams two game weekend sweep of the Potomac Patriots.  Eastlack posted 5 goals and 3 assists for 8 points including 3 power play goals, 1 power play assist, and 1 game winning goal.  Eastlack sits in 2nd overall position in scoring in the USP3 division.
