4 more former Junior Whalers have advanced onto a higher level of hockey.  Forward Kevin Vanous, a Virginia local and former Jr. Whalers captain will be attending Trinity College (ECAC D3) next season.  Joining him in the ECAC D3 ranks is another local in forward TJ Hermans who will be attending Castleton State.  Forward Nate Atangan played for the Jr. Whalers last season in the SEJHL, he will take his game to Liberty University in the ACHA next season.  Joining Atangan in the ACHA will be goaltender David Amman who played last season for the MET-SOUTH Jr. Whalers.  Amman will be attending UNLV.
