The Jr. Whalers are proud to announce that 4 former Junior Whalers made their debut this past weekend for the Portland Junior Pirates in the Jr. A AJHL and all 4 found their way onto the scoresheet as the Pirates went 1-1 against the Philadelphia Little Flyers and another former Whaler in defenseman Jake Rakitis.  Former Whalers Captain PJ Hefferin and leading goal scorer Ryan Salkeld both finished the weekend with 4 assists, Timmy Searles and Peter Vonu both picked up 1 assist apiece.  Rakitis finished with 13 penalty minutes.  Congratulations to all 5 former Jr. Whalers and best of luck the rest of the season.
