Our first game of the season went well for the Squirts against the Virginia Wild...

The boys had thier first game of passing, setting up and heads up hockey. Evan Taylor had a great set up to Nolan vavanagh for thier first of 5 in the first period. Then going into the second period Nolan thought it would be great if he returned the favor and set Evan Taylor up for his first goal. Evan taylor was the play maker of the first game with 1 goal and three assist for a final score of 5-0. Britt League (the Brick Wall) did a great job between the pipes earning a shutout for the Squirts.

The Squirts felt pretty confident going into thier second game with the Virginia Wild. The Wild came out to play hockey.we were the first to put points on the board with a 1-0 at the at the end of the first with a great pass from Nolan Cavanagh to Adam Campbell for his first goal in the tournament. The wild answer back with one goal in the second period. Thinking we will be going into the third period tied with 1 goal a piece, Evan Taylor puts one in the back of the net with .07 seconds left in the 2nd. Going into the 3rd up a goal the Wild get 2 to tie the game at 3 all. Nolan Cavanagh and Charels Debose decide to take matters into thier own hands and set up for the winning goal for the final score of 4-3 Whalers. Once again the (Brick Wall) Britt League was great between the pipes.
