Jenkins Headed to Dakota College

The Hampton Roads Whalers are proud to announce that forward Lee Jenkins will be joining goaltender Dylan Snyder at Dakota College at Bottineau this fall and skate for the Lumberjacks.  Jenkins, a 1991 forward from West Palm Beach, FL, has been a member of the Whalers program for many years, as an original memebr of the Whalers Jr. C SEJHL team, he worked his way up to the Jr. B MET team with Head Coach Tom Winkler, before ending his Jr. career with our EJHL South Championship team this past season with coach Andy Newton.  This past season, Jenkins posted 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points to go along with 1 shorthanded assist and 40 PIMS.  Lee will major in Liberal Arts at Dakota.
