2024-2025 Whaler Nation Travel Hockey tryouts will take place over the course of 2 seperate weeks. U10 and U12 tryouts will take place on March 26th, 27th, and 28th while the U14, U16, and U18 tryouts will take place on April 29th, 30th, and May 2nd at the Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake.
Whaler Nation will select all travel teams from this tryout and all players who aspire to participate must attend all dates and will be evaluated at this time. Teams will be chosen immediately following the last day of the tryout and posted on the Whaler Hockey website after all player contracts are received.
The tryouts will be conducted over three 60 minute sessions per age group, with U16 and U18 being 90 minutes; each age group will be evaluated by coaches and Whaler Nation personnel.
All players MUST tryout within their own age band.
All participants must have a current USA Hockey membership and submit upon registering. (available at www.usahockey.com).
