2023-2024 Whaler Nation Travel Hockey tryouts will take place April 25th, 26th, and 28th at the Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake.

Whaler Nation will select all travel teams from this tryout and all players who aspire to participate must attend all dates and will be evaluated at this time. Teams will be chosen immediately following the last day of the tryout and posted on the Whaler Hockey website after all player contracts are received. 

The tryouts will be conducted over three 50 minute sessions per age group; each age group will be evaluated by coaches and Whaler Nation personnel.

All players MUST tryout within their own age band.

All participants must have a current USA Hockey membership and submit upon registering. (available at www.usahockey.com).

FOLLOWING THE SELECTION OF ALL WN TRAVEL TEAMS, WE WILL COMPLETE IN THE CCM SHOWCASE AT THE PRINCE WILIAM ICE CENTER IN POTOMAC.  THIS SHOWCASE WILL BE USED BY THE COACHES AND ORGANIZATION TO DETERMINE PROPER TEAM PLACEMENT IN THE CBHL.
