The Hampton Roads Jr. Whalers of the USPHL are proud to announce that 1998 forward Andriy Denyskin (Kiev, Ukraine) will have the honor of joining the Ukrainian U20 National team for the 2017 IIHF U20 World Ice Hockey Championships in Budapest, Hungary.  The Ukrainian team will compete in Division 1, Group 2.  The 6’5, 220lbs power forward has tallied 19 points in 17 games for the green and blue on 12 goals and 7 assists.  Denyskin has notched 2 power play goals, 2 power play assists, and 2 game winning goals.  Denyskin will join the national team December 4th-18th.  He becomes the 5th Whaler to represent his home country on the national stage.
