The 2015-16 season was one for the record books for the Whalers Elite team, taking home the Elite Regular Season title and USPHL Elite Championship defeating the Florida Eels 3-2 to take home the crown.  The Whalers finished with an overall record of 48-6-2.

The Whalers will look to defend their Championship season kicking the pre-season off with match-ups against Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, Long Island Royals, and Philadelphia Revolution at the Jr. Flyers Showcase.  An event in which the Whalers finished 3-0-0 last year as part of a 5-0 perfect pre-season record against EHL Premier competition.

The Whalers Elite team will lean on a veteran defensive core, which features 4 Whaler veterans, including USPHL Elite defensive player of the year runner-up Brendan Zack and USPHL veteran Vaden McManus who comes over from the Portland Pirates.  USP3 standouts (John Moncovich- USP3 MVP/ Offensive P.O.Y.), Brandon Osmundson (USP3 Assist Leader), and Zach Alvarado (USP3 Goalie of the Year) will look to leave their mark on this years squad.

The 2015-16 season was a banner year for the Whalers USP3 team, taking home the USP3 Southern Conference Regular season title, USP3 Southern Conference playoff title, and defeating the Jersey Hitmen (#1 North) in the USPHL semi-finals to become the last USP3 team standing before bowing out to the Dells Ducks (USPHL Mid-west) in a cross-over championship game.  The Whalers finished with an overall record of 42-12-4.

The Whalers will look to continue off last years success kicking the pre-season off with match-ups against New York Apple Core, Central Penn Panthers, and Metro Fighting Moose at the Jr. Flyers Showcase.  An event in which the Whalers finished 2-0-1 last year.

The Whalers USP3 team will be led by 8 veterans, including top 5 scorers Caelan Bolanowski and Gary Eastlack from last season and a young crop of skilled players that give the Whalers both depth and experience throughout the line-up.  NA3HL veteran Everett Yasinski will anchor the goaltending core.
