Important 2016-17 Program Information
The Whalers continue to offer the most comprehensive travel program in the CBHL, providing our players with the most ice time and best value. Whaler Nation continues to strive for excellence on and off the ice while providing a maximum level of competition, coaching, training, and safety for each of our players. In 2016-17 we will continue to offer first class programming to our players, providing them a pathway to Junior and Collegiate hockey. Below is some of the key programming our players will take advantage of in the 2016-17 season.
- Whaler Nation Happy Hour (6 weeks of Pre-Season training taught by our junior coaches and power skating instructor Suzie Hewitt)
- Bon Secours InMotion Sports Performance Training with certified trainers Joey Ratti and Samantha Phillips.
- ImPact Concussion Testing for all players
- 2 practices per week running August 18th, 2016-March 24th, 2017
- 40-50 Game Schedule
- 2 Tournaments
- Full access to the Whaler Nation Gym
- Goalie Skills Sessions, every other Wednesday
- New Gear Supplier- East Coast Hockey & Skating Supply
