All prospective players are invited to attend the showcase and camp. The Whalers will be looking to build off a very successful 2015-2016 season as the organization continues to be a dominate powerhouse in the USPHL.

The 2015-16 season was one for the record books for the Whalers Elite team, taking home the Elite Regular Season title and USPHL Elite Championship defeating the Florida Eels 3-2 to take home the crown.  The Whalers finished with an overall record of 48-6-2, which included a 5-0-0 pre-season record against EHL Premier competition, followed by a 36-6-2 regular season mark, and a perfect 7-0 mark in the playoffs highlighted by round 1 and 2 sweeps over the Charlotte Rush and Palm Beach Hawks en route to the Elite finals in Boston where the boys went a perfect 3-0.

The Whalers finished with a league high 221 goals for and surrendered only 115 goals against, the 2nd lowest total in the Southern Conference which included the 3rd most shutouts in the league at 5.  The Whalers special teams units were on opposite ends of the spectrum.  The power play unit finished the year at 19.8% ranking 8th while the penalty kill ranked dead last in the league at 75.0%.

The 2015-16 season was a banner year for the Whalers USP3 team, taking home the USP3 Southern Conference Regular season title, USP3 Southern Conference playoff title, and defeating the Jersey Hitmen (#1 North) in the USPHL semi-finals to become the last USP3 team standing before bowing out to the Dells Ducks (USPHL Mid-west) in a cross-over championship game.  The Whalers finished with an overall record of 42-12-4, which included a 3-1-1 pre-season record against MJHL/EHL Elite competition, followed by a 32-9-3 regular season mark, and a 7-2 run in the playoffs highlighted by round 1 and 2 sweeps over the Carolina Eagles and Atlanta Knights en route to the USP3 finals in Boston.

The Whalers had winning streaks of 11 games (Oct. 2-Nov. 13), 4 games (Nov. 15-Dec. 5) (Dec. 12-Dec.18), and 10 games (Feb. 4-Mar 9.)
