Veteran forward Griffin Leach will take an official visit to Babson College this weekend.

The 1994 forward from San Jose, CA helps pace the high powered Whalers offense with 17 goals, 19 assists for 36 points in 22 games for Hampton Roads and has helped lead the team to the top of the standings in the USPHL with a record of 17-4-0-1. 

The Whalers forward sits 2nd among all scorers in the USPHL in goals and points behind teammate TJ Sneath and sits in 5th overall in assists to help propel the highest scoring team in the entire USPHL with 106 goals for in 22 games.  Leach is also 2nd on the team and 3rd in the league in game winning goals.

Babson College is an NCAA Division 3 program located in Babson Park, MA.  The Beavers are currently 4-0 on the season and ranked #7 in the country.  Former Whalers Tim Searles is a member of the Beaver hockey team.
